Intuitive 1Touch Media Controller
Patent Pending |

This year most of the Sony and Pioneer CD players sold for use in Home Stereo Systems are capable of holding many CD's.
The intuitive 1Touch Controller makes these players a delight to use, shows off the consumers music collection, and simplifies the consumers life significantly.
What it does:
Product Description
If you combine an attractive jewel case storage with a remote controller you'll get the 1Touch Controller.
However, the buttons are NOT typical vague multi-use buttons like those that other remote controllers have. Instead it dedicates a button to each jewel case for playing the associated CD. Another option is to use each jewel case itself as a button to select the CD that it used to encase.
1Touch Controllers can be daisy chained together to grow with a consumer's CD collection. When combined with an RF based signal extender, multiple 1Touch controllers can be used in any room of the house (ideal for home-integrated stereo systems).
Physical Description
The 1Touch Controller can take on a number of different physical shapes. CDs can be oriented vertically, horizontally, at an angle really, and in any fashion so long as the title is easily viewable by the consumer. The pictures below show one possible configuration using horizontally oriented jewel cases:
Just a few of some of the other many possible configurations are as follows:

| Vertical jewel cases |
1Touch Tower |
Lower Profile 1Touch |
The configurations shown above are just a small sample of the many possible setups that meet the 5 criteria below. The 1Touch Controller should at least have the following characteristics:
- A method to identify individual CDs in CD Player - ideally this is in the form of slots that will accept standard size jewel cases.
- Only needs one touch to play any CD out of 100's of possible CDs.
- Has a remote controller chip so it can be separate from the CD Player. This chip can be for a certain brand of CD players, or it can be a UNIVERSAL remote controller chip, so it can work with every brand of multiple-CD Player.
- Has a power source (like a battery compartment) to power the remote control function.
- Has an IR emitter on the end of a wire that can be placed strategically for ideal IR transmission.
Functional Description
Selection can be made by pressing a button located next to the media that the consumer wants to play.
Or the jewel case itself can be used as a button as shown below:
